REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

Clear guidance when plans change.

Our rental inventory and event services are reserved specifically for your date. This policy explains cancellations, refunds, security deposits and how we handle damaged or incorrect items.

Last updated: August 28, 2026

Booking confirmation & reservation payments

A booking is confirmed only after we accept the order and receive the payment identified in your quote, invoice or checkout. A reservation payment holds inventory and event capacity for your date. Unless your written quote states otherwise, reservation payments are applied to the final balance but are non-refundable because we remove those items and services from availability for other customers.

Customer cancellations

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to classygracefulevents@mail.com. Unless a different schedule appears in your signed agreement:

  • More than 30 calendar days before the event: payments above the reservation payment may be refunded, less non-recoverable special-order, design, processing or third-party costs already incurred.
  • 15–30 calendar days before the event: up to 50% of payments above the reservation payment may be refunded after eligible committed costs are deducted.
  • 14 calendar days or fewer before the event: payments are non-refundable because inventory, staffing and logistics have been committed.

Approved refunds are normally issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may require additional processing time.

Rescheduling & changes

We will make reasonable efforts to move a booking when written notice is received, but a new date, inventory and staff are subject to availability. Amounts paid may be transferred once to a new date occurring within 12 months, less non-recoverable costs, where we approve the change in writing. Price differences and new delivery or labour charges remain payable.

Weather, venue closure & events beyond control

Weather or a venue decision does not automatically cancel a rental agreement. Customers are responsible for a safe indoor or weather-backup plan. Where performance becomes unsafe, unlawful or impossible for reasons beyond either party’s reasonable control, we will discuss rescheduling, available credits and recoverable amounts based on the work completed and costs already committed.

Security & damage deposits

A refundable security or damage deposit is separate from a reservation payment. After returned items are counted and inspected, the unused balance will normally be returned within 10 business days. We may deduct documented charges for missing items, breakage, damage beyond normal wear, excessive cleaning, late return or other amounts permitted by the rental agreement. If charges exceed the deposit, the remaining balance is payable by the customer.

Incorrect, missing or damaged items at delivery

Please inspect rentals promptly at delivery or collection. Report an incorrect, missing, defective or damaged item as soon as reasonably possible—preferably before the event begins—and include photographs where practical. We may repair, replace, provide a suitable substitute, issue a proportional credit or refund the affected item, depending on timing and availability. Do not use an item that appears unsafe.

Unused items & early returns

Rental items are reserved for a fixed period rather than sold. Unused quantities, a change of preference after delivery, or returning items early do not qualify for a refund. Retail goods, custom products or special-order items, if offered, may have separate written return terms.

Our cancellation or inability to supply

If we cancel a confirmed booking or cannot provide a material item or service, we will offer a reasonable substitute, a credit, rescheduling or a refund for the affected portion. This does not limit any remedy available under applicable consumer law.

Your statutory rights

This policy is intended to operate with the consumer protection laws that apply to your transaction. It does not exclude, restrict or replace rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Consumer rules differ by province or territory, and certain online, direct-sales or other contracts may carry statutory cancellation rights. If this policy conflicts with mandatory law, the mandatory law prevails.
